Empório Aragão x Die DNA des Lichtes

This collaboration combines the timeless designs of Empório Aragão with the fascination for light and spectral colors of the artists Die DNA des Lichtes. Each piece in the collection incorporates the characteristic mixture of colors and light intensities of Neuhorst and Henkel’s work, providing a visually and sensorially impactful experience for the wearer. The artistic process of the DNA involves decomposing light into its spectral components – red, green, blue – and mixing them to create colors like yellow, orange, and violet. The resulting artworks are illuminated with colored light components, considering the intensity of the selected colors and their reflections. This results in fascinating, radiant, and unique images that come to life with luminosity. Here, the works that are usually reproduced on different materials, such as plexiglass, allowing backlighting with LED technology, give rise to unique pieces of wearable art.
